특정 반 학생들은 정체모를 '왕'으로부터 미션을 전해받는다. 1번은 2번에게 사랑을 고백한다, 혹은 키스를 한다, 같은 다소 가벼운 미션이 전달되지만 미션을 수행하지 않을 경우 책상과 학생이 소멸되어 버리자 학생들은 당황하게 되고 왕게임이 장난이 아님을 깨닫는다. 소멸된 학생들은 아예 존재조차 없었던 것처럼 모든 것이 지워진다.
The students think of it as a silly joke when the mobile telephones ring with instructions for the classmates. The texts keep coming and the demands escalate under punishment of erasure however. The class is alone in having to obey or fend off the increasingly demanding texts and, in the meantime, the rank of the class-mates is dwindling one by one.
10月19日、あるクラスの32人の生徒のもとに、真夜中に「キング」と呼ばれる謎の送り主から、あるルールと命令が伝えられる。本田千恵美と幼なじみの金沢伸明は、キングからのメッセージを受け取り、クラスメイトのことを命令される。最初は面白半分でやっていたが、次第にルールは恐ろしいものになり、クラスメイトは姿を消していく。
