May 2007. Gil Rossellini is in Turin to present the Argo Challenge Project, the sail boat with an also disable athletes team which will participate the America's Cup. These are Gil's the last days before the final act of his main challenge: the duel against disease and stabbing pain. Since summer 2007 Gil will undergo more than 20 surgeries and his life will be mainly spent in many hospitals, with morphine as constant fellow traveller. Film making and dreaming, social commitment and his memories are the best keys to escape from his status and to play all the way down the game with fate. Kill Gil 2 e ½ is the tale of this battle, fought with passion and irony with an outstanding strength till the last day. An artistic and professional evidence which joins the human disease to smart humour and a tribute to neo-realism, with common people becoming actors. A moving hymn to life with an ending that, even sad, conveys the will to overstep every barrier.
