Die Rockgruppe "Kerschowski" wurde im März 1985 gegründet. Der Film porträtiert den Komponisten, Sänger und Songwriter Lutz Kerschowski. Er wuchs in Blankenfelde in Berlin auf, wurde nach dem Abitur Autoschlosser, studierte dann Musik und wurde Rocksänger. Bei Proben und einem Konzert mit seiner Band wird er gefilmt und interviewt.
