电影讲述了宁毅与苏檀儿至武都发展以后，仍未继承家业且不甘于当“吉祥物”的苏文兴（刘冠麟 饰）决定另起炉灶，去往富源城自立门户，在旧时同窗高甜（王祉萱 饰）的帮助下经营布行，成就对方的同时，找到自身的价值所在，也收获了真挚感情的故事。
