Iqbal is a 10-year-old boy who lives in Kardù, a small town somewhere in the world. Iqbal's adventure begins when the doctor prescribes some very expensive medications for Aziz, who suffers from pneumonia. Since there is no money, Iqbal decides to go to the market in Mapur and sell his toys there. In Mapur he meets Hakeem, a charismatic con man, who offers to buy Aziz's medicines in exchange for Iqbal working in his friend Guzman's carpet store. But how long will Iqbab have to work?
