El salvavidas sigue a Mauricio, un salvavidas del litoral central que está convencido de que es el mejor en su oficio porque nunca se mete al agua. Para evitar situaciones de peligro, reglamenta estrictamente el lugar y entra en conflicto con los veraneantes.
