تكلف لصة فقيرة أختها بتوصيل خاتم مسروق إلى حبيبها، لكنها لم تكن تعلم أن الشرطة تتعقبها، فتنجح في الهرب منهم وتضطر للاختفاء عند رجل يعمل سائق قطار ويقيم مع أصدقائه، وتحكي لهم قصتها برمتها فيتعاطفون معها وتقع في حب السائق إلا أنه لا يعيرها أي اهتمام، تتوجه الفتاة لتبحث عن عمتها وتفاجأ أنها أصبحت ثرية.
