A Saturday in Neuchâtel. A day where Véronique and Pierre have lots of things to do. Pierre has to go to the dentist, Véronique has to take care of supplies, we have to get a camera for repair - A day that promises to be very busy. But none of this will happen. Because this Saturday of Pierre and Véronique will be disturbed by a whole series of tangled events of which they will cross the protagonists, with whom they will sometimes only be partially involved, but who make the details of the day. It is Maurice, the butcher, who, after dreaming that he was condemned to death for having transformed his wife into salami, murdered his work colleagues while Véronique waited for him to serve her - a salami.
