Romantická pohádka vznikla v roce 1990 na motivy příběhu německého spisovatele Theodora Storma. Vypráví o osudech dvou malých dětí, Kristiána a Elke, které díky své statečnosti a upřímnosti dokázaly překonat pána Ohně, zlého Iria, osvobodit Deštovou vílu a zachránit tak celou Zemi před suchem a žízní.
