Michael Flatley is the internationally acclaimed master of dance. In 2005 his unrivalled skill and artistry combined in an epic that fused the spirit and history of Ireland with dance and music. The result was a masterpiece, showcasing Irish dance as a dynamic, powerful art form. Says Michael, "Celtic Tiger portrays the oppression of a people. The tiger itself symbolizes the awakening of their spirit in the struggle for freedom. The show itself is a 90 minute spectacular. It is very fast moving, powerful and hard-hitting and I think that it is something that you have never seen before."

Michael Flatley je mezinárodně uznávaný mistr tance. V roce 2005 se jeho mimořádné schopnosti a umění zkombinovaly v eposu, který propojil ducha a historii Irska s tancem a hudbou. Výsledkem bylo mistrovské dílo, které představilo irský tanec jako dynamickou a silnou uměleckou formu. Michael říká : "Keltský tygr zobrazuje utlačování národa. Tygr sám o sobě symbolizuje probuzení ducha v boji za svobodu. Samotné představení je 90 neobyčejných minut. Je velmi rychle se rozvíjející, silné a energické. Myslím, že je to něco, co jste ještě nikdy předtím neviděli."

Celtic Tiger ist eine Irish-Dance-Show unter der Regie von Michael Flatley, der auch die Choreographie entwickelte und die Show selbst produzierte. Die Musik stammt von Ronan Hardiman. Die Uraufführung fand am 9. Juli 2005 im Népstadion in Budapest statt. Dies war zugleich der Start der Show in Europa. Im ersten Akt geht es hauptsächlich um die irische Geschichte, die anhand von Video-Einspielungen unterstrichen wird. Der Akt endet mit dem ersten Auftreten von Irland als Nationalstaat. Der zweite Akt befasst sich mit dem modernen Irland und beschreibt die Lebensart der Iren in Amerika und der restlichen Welt.
