Yaşar, Apo, Kovboy Ali, Cevat ve Ertuğrul'un hayattaki tek gayeleri, karınlarını doyurmak ve en büyük tutkuları olan şaraptan bir gün bile olsun ayrı kalmamaktır. Günübirlik yaşayan bu beş kişi, gayelerine ulaşabilmek için zamanın fırtınalı politik atmosferinden dahi faydalanmasını bilir. Sokaklarda yaşayan bu beş evsiz 12 Eylül 1980 sabahı geldiğinde sokağa çıkma yasağı ile karşı karşıya kalırlar. Ancak onların gidebilecekleri tek evleri vardır; o da yine sokaklardır. Yasar, Apo, Cowboy Ali, Cevat and Ertugrul are 5 homeless guys who made the Balat neighbourhood their own. Their only goal in life is to feed their hunger and to stay close to their only passion in life which is getting drunk with wine. They even use the political climate of the 80s to their advantage for the search of free wine. Our 5 homeless heroes face the curfew as the 12 september 1980 military copu happens. But the only place they have is the streets which is forbidden now. As a result of series of humorous affairs the bunch finds themselves in prison as their new home.They find themselves in an unstable world in prison. with a power struggle going on. The long time warden Hizir is displeased with the newly appointed military controller Kenan as his boss.
