Un blanc, Gabriel, débarque à Afrotown, quartier noir de Paris, à la recherche d'une veste gris-argent et intrigue tous les habitants. Félix, reporter-photographe à "l'Africain de Paris", demande à sa rédactrice en chef, la belle Kennedy, de le mettre sur l’enquête car il est persuadé que cette veste si importante pour Gabriel est cousue d'or.
