They were the ''Queens of the Night'' in Mexico in the 1970's and 1980's. The names of the great vedette (cabaret)s illuminated the streets of Mexico City from the canopies of the big nightclubs, cabarets and theaters. But time passed. Nightlife changed in Mexico. New types of entertainment replaced them and the vedettes seemed to have been forgotten.
