Due to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Venezuela, Igua, a young woman from the capital, leaves home and moves to Brooklyn, NY, to start a new life. It's her first winter ever and she shares a bedroom with a roommate who is never around. She works as a server in a small restaurant. What seems to be another day in her routine becomes increasingly worrisome as a recurrent presence stars prowling around while her mother, carrying delicate news, tries to communicate with her. Feeling overwhelmed and confused, Igua does not seem to find it easy to get rid of her restless inner world to establish contact with her loved ones.
