An Extremely Goofy Movie

Nuevas aventuras de Goofy y su hijo adolescente Max. En esta ocasión, Max se ha matriculado en la universidad, y dedica su tiempo libre a practicar todo tipo de arriesgados deportes. Goofy le echa tanto de menos, que se da cuenta de que hasta entonces ha dedicado demasiado tiempo al trabajo y muy poco a su hijo. Así que toma una decisión radical: se matricula también en la universidad.

Max parte per il college, pregustando una vita di sport estremi e libertà. A Pippo però manca Max così tanto che perde il lavoro e decide quindi di finire il college insieme a Max e ai suoi amici. Quando Pippo cerca di avvicinarsi a Max, entrambi devono impegnarsi moltissimo per imparare a vivere le loro rispettive vite... assieme.

Max Goof, finally free of Goofy, strives to become the top at his college's X Games. After arriving, Max is met by the reigning champions of the games, the Gamma Mu Mu fraternity. Their leader Bradley Uppercrust III invites Max to join them but on the condition he won't take in his friends since they only want Max. Max declines, but the two bet that whoever loses the finals becomes each other's group's towel boy. Meanwhile, Goofy's empty nest syndrome causes him to falter at work, causing a massive explosion inside at the assembly toy factory and getting him fired. The unemployment office reveals that he needs a college degree to get another job, and since Goofy dropped out of college after three years, he is forced to return to college to finish his fourth year, coming to Max's college with his 70's university clothes. Despite Max's grounding efforts, Goofy interrupts their down times with chores, making Max introduce him to the librarian, Sylvia Marpole. They date that coming Saturday, during which Max makes his father join the Gammas, whom he'd accidentally impressed during Max's practices.

Max descobre o sabor da liberdade quando chega à universidade. Ao mesmo tempo, seu pai sente tanto sua falta que perde a concentração no trabalho e é despedido. A alegria do garoto acaba, quando Pateta aparece com um visual "anos 70", deixando-o profundamente envergonhado. Com a ajuda de uma linda bibliotecária, Pateta revive o melhor de sua juventude, espalhando pelo campus um clima de discoteca da época de "Embalos de Sábado à Noite". Agora, pai e filho precisam aprender a viver suas próprias vidas... juntos!
