A young man imagines himself piloting an airliner. He goes to a flight school for a lesson in a one-propeller bi-plane. The instructor has to help him straighten his jump suit and buckle his parachute, then the pilot has to boost him into his seat. First, the pilot demonstrates what the pedals and the stick do. They take off with the pilot putting the plane through loops and rolls while the student holds onto a stick that mirrors the pilot's movements. Next the student gets control of the stick and things don't go well. Will they get back to terra firma? —<[email protected]>
