François Sentinelle mène une double vie. Le jour, il est le flic le plus médiatique de l’Île de la Réunion, connu pour ses méthodes musclées et ses chemises à fleurs, poursuivant les criminels à bord de son célèbre Defender jaune. Mais Sentinelle a aussi un autre métier : chanteur de charme.
François Sentinelle leads a double life. By day, he is the most media-friendly cop on Reunion Island, known for his tough methods and flowery shirts, pursuing criminals aboard his famous yellow defender. But outside working hours (and very often during), Sentinelle has another job: charming singer. All the people of Reunion danced to "Le Kiki", his hit from his youth today a bit embarrassing. For fifteen years, he has been trying to reconnect with success by preparing a new album… without success. But between the police and the music, Sentinelle does not want to choose. While he stays busy with his concerts and the release of his album, a wave of violent crime shakes the island. A figure of the local elite is kidnapped, another assassinated. For any cop, it would be the deal of a lifetime. But Sentinelle, all to his music, does not really have the head to investigate.
