La película trata de una serie de acontecimentos que empiezan a ocurrir en un pueblo fronterizo, tranquilo, en el entorno de una familia cuando muere alguien de la familia e inicia una investigación. Todo transcurre en el campo, en el bosque, pudiendo así compartir muchos paisajes de Paraguay y Brasil.
