James wakes up at night, crippled by nightmares. The memories of fighting, of the dead, of the many battles fought in the Pacific during World War 2. Every night, James has the same nightmares, and every night, he wakes up in his small bed. He is six years old and was born in 1996. Nonetheless, those memories are his. It will be up to little James and his parents to understand why those memories wont give him peace. "Anne" is a short movie inspired by the true story of James Leininger, an American child who, since his early age, has shown to have memories of a past life.
