Collection of movies featuring various personified emotions.
Riley Andersen and her parents move from the Midwest to San Fransisco, leaving Riley to deal with some overwhelming life changes. Her emotions try to guide her from her mind's Headquarters, but Sadness keeps touching old memories which causes Riley emotional distress. The emotions, lead by Joy, try to save Riley's memories and help her find emotional stability again.
This short was released as an extra in the Blu-ray release of Disney Pixar's INSIDE OUT. It's a zany collection clips of the emotions and how they interact.
Riley, now 12, is relaxing with her parents at home when a school friend, a boy named Jordan (seen briefly at the end of Inside Out (2015 film)), shows up to take her skating. Riley's parents suspect their daughter is going out on a date, and their emotions react. Riley's mother attempts to get the information out of her, by attempting to sound cool and using slang terms, much to Riley's (and her emotions') chagrin. Riley's father tries to intimidate and interrogate Jordan.
The sequel will pick up when Riley is a teenager, likely dealing with all the messy complicated emotions that comes with adolescence. The movie will also introduce some new emotions, beyond the five we saw in the first movie.
Dream Productions is focused on the movie studio where Riley’s dreams are made.
