The Jungle Book is a Disney media franchise that commenced in 1967 with the theatrical release of the 1967 feature film. It is based on Rudyard Kipling's works of the same name.
Embark on a journey with the boy Mowgli as he makes his way through the jungle to the man-village with Bagheera, the wise panther. Along the way he meets jazzy King Louie, the hypnotic snake Kaa and the lovable, happy-go-lucky bear Baloo, who teachers Mowgli the Bare Necessities of life and the true meaning of friendship.
Baloo the Bear stars in an adventurous comedy of love and conflict with his friend Kit Cloudkicker. Rebecca Cunningham and her daughter Molly purchase Baloo's failing company. Baloo must fly transport runs to clear his debt while dodging Don Karnage and his sky pirates.
Baloo, is one of the main characters in the series. Caring, nice, lazy and always hungry no matter what. He always make sure that the cubs stay together and do not have any problems with each other. Louie the ape is a crazy animal who likes to have fun and wants to be king one day of the jungle. Bagheera is a smart cleaver and knowledgable panther who doesn't get into much trouble. Hathi is the one of the main cubs that keeps the cubs together also and makes a troop to make sure that nothing keeps them away. Shere Kahn is the selfish most jealous cub around that wants to be king of the jungle so that he can rule it. And Kaa is a slithering snake that likes to hypnotize many animals around the jungle. With these cubs staying together, they form a family and take there times to spend with each other before growing up and becoming real adults animals.
Mowgli is living in the Man Village with the girl who lured him in, Shanti, his adopted brother Ranjan, and Ranjan's parents. However, Mowgli wants to return to the chaotic adventures of the jungle, and after nearly leading the other children of the village into the jungle, is punished by his adopted father for putting them in danger. Meanwhile, in the jungle, Shere Khan has returned to Baloo and Bagheera's part of the jungle seeking retribution on Mowgli. Baloo breaks into the Man Village and persuades Mowgli to live in the jungle; however, unbeknownst to them, Shere Khan has followed Baloo into the village, only to be chased off by the village people. In the ensuing battle between villagers and the tiger, Shanti and Ranjan sneak into the jungle to rescue Mowgli, believing that Baloo is a Rabies who has kidnapped the boy.
In 1890 India, Mowgli is a "man cub" raised by the wolf Raksha (The Jungle Book) and her pack, led by Akela (The Jungle Book), in an Indian jungle ever since he was brought to them as a infant by the black panther Bagheera. Bagheera trains Mowgli to learn the ways of the wolves, but the boy faces certain challenges and falls behind his wolf siblings, while Akela disapproves of him using human "tricks", like building tools, instead of learning the ways of the pack.
