Jeden Tag steht ein junges Mädchen mit Gesichtsmaske am Strand um dort eine für es nostalgische Melodie zu singen. Nachdem sie in ihrer Kindheit gleich zwei herzzerreißende Abschiede durchleben musste, singt Nino „Alice“ Arisugawa ihre Lieder nun dem Meer vor. Sie fühlt sich von einem Versprechen gebunden, welches sie ihren beiden Kindheitsfreunden gegeben hat. Zum einen ihrer ersten Liebe, Momo Sakaki, zum anderen Kanade „Yuzu“ Yuzuriha, der damals Musik für sie komponierte. Ohne sich je persönlich getroffen zu haben, versprachen beide Jungen Nino, dass, sollten sie jemals von ihr getrennt werden, sie durch Ninos Stimme wieder zu ihr finden werden. Sechs lange Jahre später ist es soweit. Nino, Momo und Yuzu besuchen die gleiche Highschool. Doch im Verlauf der Zeit haben sich viele Dinge in ihrem Leben verändert. Während Nino weiterhin unablässig versucht, ihr Kindheitsversprechen zu erfüllen, kommen bei Yuzu die von ihm am liebsten verdrängten Gefühle für Nino wieder in voller Stärke zurück, wohingegen Momo alles versucht, um ein Wiedersehen mit Nino zu vermeiden. Wird es ihnen durch Musik gelingen, ihre alte Freundschaft wiederherzustellen und das Gefühlschaos ihres Dreiecksverhältnisses zu überwinden?

Every day, a young girl wearing a mask stands by the beach and sings a nostalgic melody. Depuis toute petite, Nino adore chanter. C'est bien simple : chaque fois qu'elle est émue, bouleversée, que ses sentiments sont sollicités, elle chante. Elle ne peut pas s'en empêcher et c'est d'ailleurs pour ça qu'elle a fini par porter un masque. Pour se retenir. Heureusement pour elle, toute petite, ça ne gênait pas Momo et Yuzu avec qui elle formait un trio inséparable. D'ailleurs, Momo était son premier amour. Et avec Yuzu qui avait un talent naturel pour la composition, la vie était belle. Seulement voilà. Le bonheur n'est pas éternel et Yuzu et Momo ont dû quitter Nino. Bouleversée, la jeune fille s'accroche à la dernière promesse que les garçons lui ont faite : ils la retrouveront grâce à sa voix ! Bien des années plus tard, Nino est persuadée de les avoir retrouvés au lycée. Mais comment en être sûre ?

Nino Arisugawa è una ragazza che ama il canto e ha una voce incantevole.
