Perfect Report

Here's a scoop of success story about a group of failures coming together to save their place. Kanae is a television reporter. Because she insisted on only investigating an unsolved case from 15 years before, she is relegated from the social department and put in charge of the "reserve-reporters team". At her new post, Kanae is made to work with a group of undesirables: a cameraman who thinks he is a film director, a camera assistant who has never even touched a camera before, and an announcer who gets her lines wrong. 在CTN報道局內部，存在著一個「游軍取材班」。從外人開來這似乎是一個方便及時採訪報道以及給其他部門作補充的機動部隊，但是裡面所雲集的幾乎都是被其他部門掃地出門或者難以應付的問題兒童。與其他部門繁忙的景象形成鮮明對比的是，游軍取材班的辦公室永遠冷冷清清，亂作一團。　　總是一臉虛假笑容的前主播奧澤綠（相武紗季飾）因播報失誤被下放到游軍取材班，見過見到的同事桃井祐（遠藤雄彌飾）、紫村健（小柳友飾）、黃田功（要潤飾）、白石弘（小日向文世飾）均是混日子的典型。未過多久，現年38歲的蒼山葉（松雪泰子飾）接任游軍取材班的班長。她是為了寫好報道而無所顧忌奮力向前衝的媒體精英，而隨著前政治部記者赤阪眾（小出惠介飾）的加入，這支廢柴軍團開始發生翻天覆地的變化……
