I probably got a few things wrong...like possibly the definition for paratext but y’know...pobodies nerfect
Made for the Lessons Animation Taught Us series by Filmjoy. And since I don’t think I said it anywhere in the video, the crystal chamber scene is rad as hell and I really love the Hunchback of Notre Dame, especially the stage version.
So this one turned out pretty long. Also I didn't say it in the video but again, this show is up to interpretation so this is just my personal take and I'll probably be wrong about some stuff.
I love the Twelfth Doctor you guys. I don't love Steven Moffat. (Get ready for another Moffat rant kids. This one has delusions of grandeur)
I'm not sure I managed to articulate everything I wanted to with this one but I did my best. Also I caught a bunch of editing goofs after the fact on this one. For the Much Ado about Nothing clips I got the theaters wrong. The David Tennant one is from Digital Theatre in 2011 and the other is The Globe Theatre.
More than any video so far I have a feeling people are going to really DISAGREE with a lot of things I said here no matter how many times I state that art is subjective and these are just my opinions.
Did you want over an hour of me talking about a show that’s nearly 40 years old? Well here you go. Also this is not the most HD video ever. This show has never been released on Blu Ray so yeah :/
So...more than usual, I did mess with the chronology of what we are shown and when, to try and coherently summarize parts of this story. Other than that...man these are some sad ghosts.
Once more with feeling am I right? One of these days I'll just release one of these with no editing hiccups or problems. Won't that be nice.
1. I really like Chaucer 2. For some reason I had a real hard time say Helgeland and Ulrich. 3. Aw beans I meant 14th century not 13th Enjoy
This video has been in varying states of production since January. The video was like 75% written and edited before police violence broke out across the US in May of 2020. If you are also concerned with racial inequality and police accountability here are a few organizations that could use your support.
Well...Its what it says on the tin. And since it would have made the title even more unwieldy, yes we’re covering The Last of us Parts 1 & 2
Sorry again this one took so long. Hope you enjoy!
I learned something making this, I hope you do too. (Also I quote the Raven King by Nora Sakavic in this video. The All For the Game trilogy was my favorite trash in my early twenties and I kept coming back to that quote for this video. THAT SAID if you are curious and want to read the All for the Game trilogy please look up trigger warnings for this series It is not something I can recommend unreservedly. It was just my cheese when I was 23.)
Its what it says on the tin! Thank you to everybody who sent in questions :)
Today we’re cancelling the apocalypse. Also Capitalism sucks.
I sure like Stargate SG-1
Boy I hope my pronunciations in this one don’t suck. Anyway I like this show.
Enjoy this interview! Also Rich wanted to be sure to say: before and during Jewish deportations, the Germans did, in fact, despoil as much as they could from the Jews, including money, jewels, industries and art. Whatever was left, the local Gentiles took, including homes, businesses, livestock and even Jewish ritual items.
