Season 2019

  • S2019E01 The Energy of Invention - An Adventure Zone Balance Video Essay

    • April 1, 2019

I probably got a few things wrong...like possibly the definition for paratext but y’know...pobodies nerfect

  • S2019E02 Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Emotional Storytelling - A Video Essay

    • April 18, 2019

Made for the Lessons Animation Taught Us series by Filmjoy. And since I don’t think I said it anywhere in the video, the crystal chamber scene is rad as hell and I really love the Hunchback of Notre Dame, especially the stage version.

  • S2019E03 Haunted Metaphors - A Russian Doll Video Essay

    • May 25, 2019

So this one turned out pretty long. Also I didn't say it in the video but again, this show is up to interpretation so this is just my personal take and I'll probably be wrong about some stuff.

  • S2019E04 Art vs. The Artist - A Doctor Who Video Essay

    • July 18, 2019

I love the Twelfth Doctor you guys. I don't love Steven Moffat. (Get ready for another Moffat rant kids. This one has delusions of grandeur)

  • S2019E05 Facades and the Fourth Wall - A Fleabag Video Essay

    • September 10, 2019

I'm not sure I managed to articulate everything I wanted to with this one but I did my best. Also I caught a bunch of editing goofs after the fact on this one. For the Much Ado about Nothing clips I got the theaters wrong. The David Tennant one is from Digital Theatre in 2011 and the other is The Globe Theatre.

  • S2019E06 A Flawed Masterpiece - A Rogue One Video Essay

    • November 11, 2019

More than any video so far I have a feeling people are going to really DISAGREE with a lot of things I said here no matter how many times I state that art is subjective and these are just my opinions.

    • February 3, 2022

Enjoy this interview! Also Rich wanted to be sure to say: before and during Jewish deportations, the Germans did, in fact, despoil as much as they could from the Jews, including money, jewels, industries and art. Whatever was left, the local Gentiles took, including homes, businesses, livestock and even Jewish ritual items.
