本剧讲述了先王之子清采(官鸿饰）为了远离朝堂纷争隐姓埋名生活在一个小镇中，直到养父韩忠遇到危险，为了救养父，只好男扮女装，潜入了只招收女弟子的明夷山庄，遇到了前来复仇的墨门遗孤甘蒲（郑合惠子饰），以及各有身份和目的的王逸少（朱赞锦饰）、韩艾真（王子甲饰）、高音（姜萌轩饰）、胡娇（尹栖熙饰）等人。在此过程中，清采为了掩饰身份，发生了许多啼笑皆非的故事，同时也对甘蒲产生了感情，两人从欢喜冤家到相爱相知，但面对彼此的真实身份，清采和甘蒲又渐行渐远，最终甘蒲解开了心结，与清采共同抗敌。
