比較的手頃な料金で、家政婦を派遣してくれる「むすび家政婦紹介所」。その紹介所で働く三田園薫（みたぞの かおる）は、実は「家政婦」ではなく、"女装"をしている男性、つまり「家政夫」である。神出鬼没で、料理・洗濯・掃除といったあらゆる家事においてプロ級の腕前を持つ三田園は、派遣先での仕事をこなしながら、その家庭の裏に蔓延る「根深い汚れ」を暴いていく。
