The caretaker is a Joker of the garage cooperative, who is happy to tell guests funny stories from his life. He tells all sorts of people who come to his Lodge. By nature, he is such a philosopher, with an incomprehensible complicated past. He is an expert in many areas. And in the course of the film, it becomes clear that he understands art, philosophy, cinema, and is able to Express his opinion effectively. So he tells the guests different stories. And each story is a separate series, with its own beginning, culmination and denouement. What unites all these stories is the main character. And an ironic attitude to all these events.
