Secret Service Agent Jerome "Dag" Daggett (David Alan Grier) is one of the top men in his field, assigned to protect the President of the United States. Following an embarrassing blunder, Daggett is demoted to the B-Team and charged with protecting the First Lady (Delta Burke), who treats him as a servant instead of her bodyguard. Now, Dag must try to maintain his composure while dealing with not only the First Lady, but also her teenage daughter and a bumbling staff.
