This is the first video in the 2014-2015 Alaska to Argentina trip. A lot has happened since I last uploaded, so I hope this fills in the gaps.
In this episode we hit the road on our Honda 90's, starting in Anchorage Alaska and head to the most northern road in North America at Deadhorse in Prudhoe Bay in Alaska.
So here's episode 3 of our Alaska to Argentina trip on Honda C90's. Like I said it's a mammoth 25 minutes long, so I'm either sorry or happy you either hated or loved the length. I'd like to say a warm thank you to everyone that was lovely to us in Alaska, I'm sorry if you didn't make the video, but Rach and I have very fond memories of you.
Alaska to Argentina episode 4: Alaska Highway. In this episode we enter Canada from Alaska in the middle of October and ride down to Vancouver.
Hi guys, sorry if the video was a bit short, but the full 50 minutes would have been a bit much for watching on the bog aye? Can't talk much now, got to carry on editing Episode 6
I'm never gonna manage an adequate description for this video, it's a beast! My longest EVER!
Well there we go, lovely Newfoundland. I hope you guys enjoyed the video. I'm really happy with how it came out, and I'm really happy that the donations helped make the music an accommodation happen :)
I've just watched the outro back, and it still confuses me. But it's genuine and was the first take, so I used it haha. Hope you enjoyed the video, I quite enjoyed the irrelevance of this one.
So here we are: the first episode for crossing the USA off-road. I'm very happy with it myself. I think it might just be the best one so far! But it's only here because of you donations to help pay for the costs of making it, so thank you!!!
If you're bothering to read this, you've probably made it through the whole video, and are thinking of donating to help fund future videos (or help pay off the costs of this one). Awesome!!! :)
So there we are, the first video of me riding "solo" again.
This is a re-upload because YouTube deleted the video for some reason but has no record of doing it, weird. Anyway. Enjoy guys.
Finally finished the edit at 7 in the morning, then got 1.5 hours sleep and I'm now flying to Vietnam to guide a tour, tired isn't even the word haha. Anyway, hope you enjoyed the video, and I know I've said it before, but I'm so sorry the videos have been taking so long to get released. Although since finding a new editor it only took a month, so that's not bad for our first collaboration ????
Well there we are guys and gals. It took 6 weeks to edit, but that's not actually a bad time to edit a 59 minute movie I guess haha. Sorry for the delay in uploading, but I had to earn money working, and it's easy to put off an edit as mammoth as this one.
Well there we are, the end of the series, and for me, an era. Thank you so much for following me on my journeys around the world and through life, It wouldn't have been the same without you. But where this chapter finishes, the next one starts, and I've got to go now and buy a terribly engineered Chinese mini jeep and try and drive it across the desert. Wish me luck or at least a camera haha.
Well here we are, the first episode of a new direction of mine: short sharp stupid adventures. I hope you liked this build video, I tried to make it as interesting as possible for normal people haha. As I said at the end of the video. Just the Jeep parts alone cost me over $5,000. So if you'd like to help future videos happen (I have lots more adventures like this planned).
Remember to watch in 4k even on a 1080p screen to stop YouTube destroying the quality of the GoPro footage. Hi Guys and apparently 2.3% girls according to YouTube, sorry about the reupload confusing everyone, I had to make a change to it. I hope you enjoyed the video, I had a lot of fun in the edit messing around (sorry about the singing). As I mentioned in the outro, these videos can only happen at faster than glacier speed with your support
Remember to watch in 4k (after the Premiere) even on a 1080p screen to stop YouTube destroying the quality of the GoPro footage. I hope you enjoyed the video, I had a lot of fun in the edit messing around, especially the salt flat section. As I mentioned in the outro, these videos can only happen at faster than glacier speed with your support.
Hi guys, hope you enjoyed the video. Sorry for the time it took to edit. The raw footage was 14.5 hours long, and in the end I decided to end this episode at the end of the snow to stop it being an hour long video.
Hi guys, hope you enjoyed the video. Sorry for the 4 month wait to edit, I won't go into details, but my personal life needed some attention and it's waaaaay different to how it was 4 months ago. Don't worry, the next video will be along fairly shortly, and you'll get to see me attempt the 1.2 miles water crossing of Lake Powell haha.
Well there we go, the final part of the Will it make it to Moab series! I can't believe it's actually over, and I can't believe what was actually only two weeks of driving turned into a mammoth six part series! Thank you so much for watching and being a part of this with me. I know I got a little emotional at the end, but it does mean a lot to me to be able to make these videos exactly how I want them, and not be part of humanity's race to the bottom with disposable and heartless 60 second videos.
Well there we go, the next mini jeep adventure begins :) A massive thank you to everyone that donated to me or bought some merchandise. I said if I got enough money I'd convert Willy to 4WD.....and here we are haha. So thank you :)
Well....that was brutal. And yes, next time I will be making an insulated and heated camera bag! I hope you liked the video, sorry if it's a bit too long, but I wanted to tell the whole story....and I've even cut it in half already! And thank you again for all your support. I don't have a production company behind me, and I love that I can create these videos for you, and maybe even inspire you to get out there and do something "stupid" yourself. Just maybe don't do something this stupid.
