Von Ibiza bis Marokko, von Istanbul bis Kathmandu, von Kabul bis Goa suchten die Blumenkinder Erleuchtung und die Erweiterung ihres Bewusstseins. Die Doku-Reihe geht auf Spurensuche mit den Veteranen der Backpacker-Szene und reist u.a. mit der 68iger Ikone Uschi Obermaier quer durch Marokko, besucht den Stardesigner Philippe Starck in seinem Traumhaus auf Formentera und erfährt von Lonely Planet-Gründer Tony Wheeler, warum er gerade wieder einen Afghanistan-Reiseführer schreibt.
