這是一個圍繞父子兩代情仇，正邪對立的武俠劇。凌天生(羅頌華)和凌飛揚(尹天照)同是刀霸凌絕壁(羅烈)之養子，毫無血緣關係。可是壁只對揚愛護有加，悉心裁培武藝，相反生被壁視如奴役，常遭毒打，逐漸形成兩人性格回。生偷學武功為壁發現，更被趕盡殺絕。幸得異城公主齊雪(關詠荷)所救，並得其父傳授絕世劍法，一時受萬人景仰。揚為保聲威，用盡千方百計陷害生，並與之決一死戰。究竟生可否化險為夷？
