文明の進歩と共に忘れ去られてしまった「魔法」。だが、現代にも魔法使いは存在した。彼の名は操真晴人。魔法の指輪「ウィザードリング」で仮面ライダーウィザードへと変身し、絶望から生まれる魔物「ファントム」から人々を救うために戦い続けている……。晴人が魔法使いになった理由、謎の少女・コヨミに秘められた過去、そして二人を待ち受ける過酷な運命。人々に希望をもたらす、指輪の魔法使いの物語が幕を開ける。
