Sidestreet

Sidestreet succeeded the CBC program "The Collaborators" as their main series drama. Police show with protagonists who were community service officers instead of ordinary detectives. Episodes dealt infrequently with murder (as per the typical crime TV show), but more with other types of crimes - issues such as blockbusting, strikebreaking, rape, poverty, and the problems of the elderly in the city.
