《小戏骨之红孩儿》以四大名著《西游记》红孩儿的片段为蓝本，再度创作的网络大电影。故事讲述唐僧师徒取经时途经火焰山，孙悟空欲向铁扇公主借得芭蕉扇扑灭山火，却屡次受到牛魔王和铁扇公主之子红孩儿的阻挠。 红孩儿生性顽劣，外号“圣婴大王”，为吃唐僧肉与鹰魔勾结，用三昧真火残害众生，犯下滔天大罪。观音菩萨拯救世间苦难，以法力将红孩儿收服，成为善财童子，相助观音普渡众生。痛失爱子的牛魔王和铁扇公主也意识到对红孩儿溺爱的过错。
