Jeder Chinese will wenigstens einmal in seinem Leben hinaufgestiegen sein: mit uralten Legenden im Kopf durch atemberaubende Landschaften, über Tausende Stufen und schwindelerregende Brücken auf höchste Gipfel – auf Chinas mythische Berge. Die dreiteilige Reihe stellt die Berge Tai Shan, Emei Shan und das Gebirge Huang Shan vor. Es sind heilige Berge, weil sie untrennbar mit dem chinesischen Buddhismus und dem Taoismus verbunden sind. Alle drei zählen zum Weltkulturerbe der Unesco.

Every Chinese wants to have climbed it at least once in their life: with ancient legends in their heads through breathtaking landscapes, over thousands of steps and dizzying bridges to the highest peaks - China's mythical mountains. The three-part series introduces Mount Tai Shan, Mount Emei Shan and Mount Huang Shan. They are sacred mountains because they are inseparable from Chinese Buddhism and Taoism. All three are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
