呂四娘一心反清復明，想盡辦法行刺雍正，怎料二人意外被捲到二百多年後的香港。雍正以李大蝦身份留港，未幾四娘獲聘為富商岑兆康的貼身保鑣，大蝦亦在其公司出任小職員，二人因而再次碰頭。雍正輕而易舉地使兆康之子岑日禮建功立業，只可惜日久見人心，大蝦開始發現日禮的奸險，反提攜兆康之女岑日愛，令兆康刮目相看，越見器重，同時日愛亦被大蝦的才智深深吸引，兆康有意撮合二人。日禮欲設計陷害大蝦，更不惜置其於死地。
