Teresa Wright

Muriel Teresa Wright appeared in two Best Picture Academy Award winners: Mrs. Miniver (1942) and The Best Years of Our Lives (1946). She also appeared in two other Best Picture nominees: The Little Foxes (1941) and Pride of the Yankees (1942). In honor of her heartfelt performance in The Pride of the Yankees, when the roll call of former Yankees who had passed away in 2005 was announced, her name was read out among all the ballplayers.
